This delightful musical adaptation of Grimm's timeless tale is a sweet yet comical bit of holiday entertainment that will enchant the whole family! With traditional carols and a mixed cast of adults, children and puppets, the story follows harried cobbler, Friedrich Schuhmaker (aka Papa Shoe), his wife. Elsa, and the antics of four wacky elves who perform a small miracle that could only happen at Christmas time!

| DIRECTIONS TO RATSCH THEATER (At the Garris Center): (30 minutes from the Rockaway Townsquare Mall ) Take Route 80 W to Route 15 N via EXIT 34B toward JEFFERSON/ SPARTA. (Rt 15 turns into Rt 206) Go straight past Olde Lafayette Village Shopping Village (on the left), and the next traffic light (Chatterbox Restaurant will be on your left). Continue thru the second light at Plains Road (past the sign for the NJ Fairgrounds). Turn right at the third traffic light, and green sign reading "BRANCHVILLE 630". Century 21 will be in front. Turn left onto Broad Street. The Garris Center is located between the Branchville Methodist Church and A&G Pizza. Park on the street and follow the walkway around the back of the Garris Building to the grey blacksmith's barn, which is the Ratsch Theater. |
