UPCOMING LLA PROGRAMS WITH SPARTA RECREATION "2010 Summer Program" Dates TBA shortly! LLA conducts fall theater programs, adult/teen ballroom classes, and summer camps in theater, cartooning, and puppetry, as well as a senior citizen theater program ("Old Fogies Acting Up!) through Sparta Recreation. Sparta residents are given priority, but other students may enroll. For more information, call Sparta Rec at 729-2383. |

The photos above were taken May 3, 1997, when "Little Lost Arts" performed at PBS TV's "Children's Day at the World Trade Center". It was a beautiful, peaceful event, attended by children and families. From June-September 10, 2001, we performed "A Childhood Lost", a play about terrorism and the Holocaust, with a recurrent, almost prophetic line..."We will always remember...we will never forget.". When terror struck New York City and the WTC on September 11th, it brought our program abruptly to an end. The paradox of that peaceful site hosting such a horrific event will be forever etched in our minds. God bless the victims, and the loved ones they left behind.
